OLX is a classifieds platform serving direct C2C resale — buyer and seller negotiate, the device passes from one to the other, and the platform's role ends at the introduction. There is no inspection, no warranty, no return policy by default. Gadget Rebirth is the opposite shape: we own the inspection, we own the device, we own the warranty, and we own the returns. The two are not the same purchase.

Choose Gadget Rebirth if: Buyers who want a refurbished phone treated as a retail purchase — with QC, warranty, returns, and remote convenience.
Choose OLX if: Buyers who are comfortable inspecting the device themselves at handover, accept zero post-sale recourse, and want the absolute lowest price.
OLX is real C2C — useful if you have a friend who knows phones and you can verify the device on the spot. Gadget Rebirth is retail refurbished — useful if you want one party accountable end-to-end. Don't compare them on price alone; the products being purchased aren't the same.
It depends entirely on the seller and how thoroughly you verify the device at handover. Common failure modes: Activation Locked iPhones, blacklisted IMEI, swapped batteries, undisclosed display replacements. None of these would clear our 41-point inspection. On OLX, you do the QC. With us, we do.
If you can verify the device yourself (check IMEI on CEIR, confirm Activation Lock is cleared, test all cameras + battery health + biometrics + cellular bands at handover), and you're comfortable with zero recourse if something fails a week later — yes, save the money. If you can't or don't want to do that work, the 5-20% premium for our inspection + warranty + returns is genuinely good value.
